It's probably impossible to find any on 8mm but I expect there are plenty in circulation on 16mm. If you haven't already, you could try asking on http://16mmfilmtalk.com/

If your girlfriend loves Lucille Ball there is one on 400' but I beleive this is not from "I love Lucy". The title is something with "girl" on it, i cannot recall at the moment.

The now defunct Pinnacle Films (if I remember the company correctly) released "The Freezer" episode uncut in Super 8mm B&W Sound from "I Love Lucy". However, it doesn't come up for sale often. I don't own it, so I can't comment on its quality. I think they also released one other episode but I can't remember for certain. What I wonder is why that particular episode was chosen for release. Perhaps the Copyright wasn't renewed on it. But I doubt that since its been in continuous syndication since it was first broadcast. Original Television prints are quite common in 16mm but some can be worn or edited for more commercial time. It can be difficult to find particular episodes though.

Yes your right Hugh. I have that one and thought it would be a funny episode as other Lucille's film but finding it was more like a Drama film. At that time as Anthony, I was looking for one episode of "I love Lucy' but could not find any. As I like Lucy I just keep this until now.
I just knew that there is one episode from "I love Lucy" at least now after reading Pat's post above. So I want to explore more its print quality.

Pat's episode is not from "I Love Lucy"; its an episode of "The Lucy Show" whose copyright (supposedly) was not renewed. "I Love Lucy" was never filmed in Color.

You are quite welcome. I wish I had kept the old catalogs that I had. Sometimes I simply cannot remember details with any certainty due to the amount of titles that were released by various companies. Your print is a Red Fox Films release I seem to remember. If not, I do remember that they sold prints of that episode. How quickly the years pass and how much we treasure the prints that were struck years ago!

I only have one Super 8 print of "I LOVE LUCY" in my collection - It's B/W Sound (600 ft) and titled "THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY" --- Lucy & Ethel get jobs at the candy factory and Ricky & Fred stay at home to do the "women's work" *** VERY FUNNY *** So... now we know that at least two episodes are available on Super 8

I remember that episode. The line sped up and they couldn't keep up. They ended up stuffing chocolates everywhere. Including in their mouths. Very funny. Maybe better than the grape crushing?
