I envy that print of "Ben Hur" of yours. I have an LPP copy of this from Derann, and my color seems a bit off compared to yours.

This is a movie for bigger gauge, best in 70mm, but maybe 35mm Technicolor is also fine or minimum 16mm IB Tech. But I think it is worth to keep it in 8mm for the Stereo sound and the price is also nice for this print. Good luck.

Very nice, Adam. Before I buy another 'epically long' film, I'll see what my turnout is with 'Titanic' next month. If my crowd hangs with me the entire time, I'll look into these longer films.

I can personally vouch that this print can certainly stand on it's own against even a good 16Mm print of ths title in scope. While my print seems to be slightly off on color, (I think it was a slight defect by Derann) it is however, pin sharp and really nice to look upon on the big screen!

The print I have was the Kempski ex library Derann print which is still better than Deranns own print, which I found to be too contrasty with no detail in shadows.
