New and latest price: 675 € + shipping.

(By this copy was paid 1,100 € in laboraorio. It's a better editing amazing image quality)

I do not understand fully here ... Is it edited or full feature? You state in the header it's full feature and then say it's a better editing.

I think it's just a translation thing Vidar. This is the full feature I am certain and what Francisco is referring to is, I think, the transfer quality.

Please correct me if I am wrong Francisco.

Hello, I own the very same print on polyester; it's stunning: when you see the stern rise from the waters during the sinking on a 2 meter wide/cinemascope projection... Well this is what Super 8 is all about. This is one of those films that truly can show what the small gauge is capable of. And apart from this... It's a very good film in my opionion with more than one story line unfolding at the same time with the subplot hinting at a by-gone society aimed to sinking along with the ship itsel. A powerful visual metaphor IMHO...

It's one of my favourites also Maurizio and one I would dearly love to own if only it had stripes (not even a mono stripe could do this print justice) and of course, the resources to buy it.

I will put my blu ray on again soon and leave the Beaulieu running in the background just to dream of how good this would be to watch on 8 lol!

Andrew if only you weren't so wary about the GS and its not so many drawbacks, you could enjoy this stripeless print sinced with a digital audio source: the best of the two worlds. Much better than watching it from a Bluray with the projector background noise. And the sound is a genuine 5.1. [Big Grin]

It's the spare part situation more than anything Maurizio with the GS's.
I would be more inclined to modify the Beaulieu with a sync box I think.

I used to dream of one day owning a GS1200, I am not so sure nowadays plus it takes a fair bit of organizing on a print this long to sync with so many reel changes on a GS, much easier on a Beaulieu with only one reel change.
