I have a full length copy of The Story Of Stalingrad on Standard 8mm sound for sale, this is on Agfa film stock. I cannot test it as I have no capacity, however I have cleaned it and it does look quite tidy (1 or 2 splices). It is on 2 x 600" spools housed in a plastic bookcase style case. I have absolutely no idea of it's worth (not being into standard 8mm) so if anyone has any interest please message me. I have done some homework as to it's origin and I believe this is it:
Photographed by 15 Russian Army cameramen, the film traces the course of the siege of Stalingrad to the final Russian victory and the surrender of Field Marshal von Paulus. Roman Karmen is reported to have arrived in the city before the surrender and to have filmed a number of sequences used in the film.
Director : L Varlamov
Producer : A Ruznetsov; L Varlamov
Maybe someone knows more about this particular title than I do, looks like you can only get it from the Imperial War Museum, Del.
