William The Mosty anamorphic will need to be mounted securely in front of your backing lens. I suggest you wait until you have it in your hands and then decide how to mount it. As Vidar says, the Wittner-Cinetec bracket is probably suitable but you will need to see if the lens will fit into it. Then again, it's very expensive as everything is from this company. You might able to fashion a sort of stand and use a large Terry clip to clamp around the anamorphic. You will need some form of fixing where you can rotate the anamorphic to get it to show a completely horizontal picture. But, as I said above, wait until you get it, and then make a further decision on how to mount the lens.

That's why I like the option I came with :-) It has the good sturdy holder from Wittner and the lens is sooo cheap. I got two myself now. I only wish I could find a mount for the Elmo 16-CL too that could carry this heavy lens

William Why don't you ask the eBay seller how he mounted the lens, and if he has a bracket of some sort for it. I don't have 'scope on Super 8 so can't give firm details.
I believe the Elmo has two tapped screw holes for attachment of accessories, one on top near the front, and one on the front panel to the right of the lens. I suggest you start a new topic under the 8mm Forum heading as I am sure that many members have 'scope lenses on their ST-1200 and that they would be able to help you.
The anamorphic spreads out the picture to twice its normal width whilst retaining the same vertical height. This is why the lens needs to be able to be rotated within its holder to ensure there is a 90 degrees in each corner. If the lens is not set up correctly you will have some odd looking frame dimensions!
But, as I said above, wait until the lens arrives; and then go from there.

I may be wrong, but I think that all their films are kept in premises some distance away, so they may not be in the shop itself.
