Many thanks for that Hugh, but at that price! That is absolute daylight robbery to the extent that the company pricing that lamp should be ashamed.

Disgraceful if you ask me and old stock too.
You should be able to pick one up for £5-10 from a collector simon, if i had one you`d be welcome to it.
chc should be better than that, also stuart on here may have an equivelant one.
Good luck.
best Mark.
ps just looked stuart hoare has a 210 may be the same for £10, anyone know if its OK look very, very similar.

Try Bristol Cine Sales, they are readily available but are twenty quid cheaper than the rip-off you have been quoted,£28.99.
They are A1/184 with the reflector built in and have the multi pin base. They work with the projectors I have that use this kind of lamp with no problem.

Simon, I completely agree the price is ridiculous, but it would appear that this is the going rate for that lamp.
I have just found this USA site where they want $80.
About £40.00 at the current exchange rate, and this is without postage.
www.donsbulbs.com/cgi-bin/r/b.pl/a1%7c194~atlas.html

This site sells them for £50.00. Like a lift it keeps going up.
http://www.camcentre.co.uk/shop/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=107
but is now coming down.

This site at £34.98.
http://www.mrcad.co.uk/shop/product.php?productid=2548

These sell them but have no price stated, but may be cheaper as they are in the Channel islands.
https://www.jerseylightbulbs.com/Product/ProductInfo.aspx?cid=81&id=379

The cheapest that I can find is £28.50.

Thank you for these details. How do companies charge so much for a lamp...£49 is a crime to be ashamed of though.
