Would like to get hold of a reel arm from an Elmo projector, can be take-up or supply side, length doesn't really matter, can be from an ST-1200 or ST-800 or ST-600 projector or (God forbid) from a GS-1200 [Big Grin] but you get the idea - it should be just like the reel arms on my ST-1200HD. I'm interested in the plastic cover, the metal arm itself (with the cogs mounted on it) and of course the spindle at the top. Doesn't have to have all cogs, but one or two would be nice.

I know this is a very specific "wanted" item... but just on the off chance that someone has a spare one (perhaps from a broken unit/parts machine)... does anyone? *hope, pray* [Cool]

And while they are looking for your part maybe they have a spare knob for the framing button on an Elmo ST180E? [Smile]

[Big Grin]

Maybe the lot of us should get together and donate toward a complete Elmo machine off eBay which, once I win and receive it, I'll part it out and send everybody what they need!! [Wink]

Actually, that's not such a bad idea... is it?

Hi...I am new to the forum and have found many helpful tips on it. I recently had to rebuild an Elmo 16CL (take-up rebuild kit, film path rollers, bearings, etc.) and was able to get all the parts I needed directly from Elmo. I don't know if they still carry 8MM parts, but it is worth a try. Elmo repairs is located at:

Hi Carlos,

thanks for the tip! (I'm actually surprised they still had 16mm parts - if they carry 8mm parts too, then I'll really be stunned.) [Eek!]

Again, thanks, but you're actually a bit late - I bought up a small lot of dead for-parts Elmo machines a couple months ago and got everything I needed. [Smile]
