Ideally looking for a swap, but will consider purchase.
Have done some experimentation with the proposed new "home cinema", and have discovered that the longer throw which I can now enjoy, results in the picture from my ST1200 HD being too wide for the screen by about a foot.
I currently have an Elmo f 1.1 12.5 - 25mm.
I reckon a zoom up to either 30mm or 35mm (or thereabouts) should give me what I need. I am not too fussed about the speed of the lens, but I don't want to go too far the other way and loose too much light.
Any ideas or solutions gratefully received.
Cheers,
-------------------- Dave.
Valves and celluloid - a great combination! Early technology rules OK!

Hi David, Have you tried a standard 1.3 15-25mm zoom lens? That will give a smaller picture than your 1.1 lens,i have a spare if you'd like to try it....Mark.

Actually, the standard Elmo lens will not give David a smaller picture than his 1.1 lens as they both only zoom up to 25mm. What you need is at least an Elmo 1.0 lens which will zoom up to 30mm, or of course an Elmo long throw lens.

Hi David, I'm using a converter lens, but I need it on the other way You will take it in front or your projector-lens, but it costs a little bit light...

Hi Mark, I was referring to the 1.1 lens and the 1.3 lens when they are both zoomed to their smallest size: they are both identical since they're both 25mm. When zoomed out large, yes the 1.3 will be smaller, but David needs the lens at the small zoom size for his long throw.
