I'm looking for a 2 blade shutter for my Elmo GP Hi-Deluxe projector. I know they exist because I tracked it down to a super 8 forum in French, a guy was discussing using his Elmo GP for 24fps transfers with a 2 blade shutter. He had a picture of a 2 and 3 blade shutter side by side. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of one of these 2 blade shutters? Thanks in advance guys.

Usually, since 24 x 5 = 120 which is a multiple of 30 fps/60 fields per second (NTSC).

Mark, I purchased a 2-blade shutter for my GS1200 from Steve Osbourne a few years ago. When I received it I was shocked at how utterly crude it was, it looked like it had been hacked out with metal shears! It was certainly no precision piece and it's a good job it cannot be seen when installed. It worked OK though, so I guess that's what counts. But If I ever have to do it again I will either buy one from Wittners or make it myself.
