Lou my Beaulieu needs a new NiMH battery. There are some company's recelling the old screw in NiCD batteries producing a 700 NiMH that has ten times the power of the old ones. Anyone have a clue? [Cool]

I recently bought a new battery for my Beaulieu 5008 MS camera at Wittner www.wittner-kinotechnik.de
They sell both refurbished ones as newly mades ones called 'Eneloop'. I am using the 'Eneloop' Not so cheap though...
If you don't mind the hassle of carrying around an external battery, there are some workarounds that are slightly cheaper.
For example you could use a dummy battery on the cam and connect it to your own home made battery pack. Some ideas can be found here: www.ffr-film.de
