Hello, I am studying for my MA and I have an installation in mind as my final piece. It regards Decay and contains 3 projected images from syuper 8 running off of 3 projectors. I would like to acquire 3 matching Eumig super 8 machines, from the 8 series (the white projectors)ie 802, 810 820 etc etc. Am in Bristol, UK and have money waiting for the right machines. Please email if you have one or all. Cheers

Hello Mark.
What you will be looking for then is:
802D,807D,810D,820,822D,824D the latter being Sonomatic models.

OR you could look out for the very similar BOLEX Super 8 only SP8 or SP80 machines.
Good luck with all your studies.

Thanks Lee, the MA is part of my staff dev. I teach film production but want to push/promote analogue production as many of my students are not aware of celluloid and mechanical projection! I have managed to acquire two 8series Eumig dual gauges (both at £35 each...working!) As the machines will be used in a public space there was no way I was going to use my GS1200. The projectors need to matching and I have owned eumigs before so visually they are just right.

Of interest your email states vesparider, are you a fellow scooterist? (I've owned Lambrettas and Vespas, mostly P range)

Hi Mark. Yes love my scootering on the PX so very much into 2-stroke riding. Did many a scoot rally last year and hope, work permitting to get to quite a few in 2011. The PX is due for MOT this week so fingers crossed all will be well with the old boy. As has been mentioned on here before I do strap a Eumig on the back seat, a speaker between my feet and give film shows to youth groups for free and boy how they love it when I roll up on the scooter.

Cool Lee, I have owned quite a few P ranges, my last one was a PX200 bored out to 210 with T5 cog etc etc. The Bristol scene is very vibrant. I started scootering back in 1980 with the Briostol Jaquars scooter club. I must admit at present I don't have a scoot, am riding a motorbike (NOOOO!!!!!)
Now, a P range with a built in super 8 projector, sound system, and fold out screen...that would be an accessory, I owonder if Taffspeed do one?

Just bought a third one , an 810 off Ebay £27.01!!!

Lee, if you get a chance watch TENTACLES (1977) tehre is an underwater scene, where the divers swim by a 'sunken' Lambretta SX!!!!! Wonder if its still there? If yes then its probably still worth a fortune. Cheers
