Hi

does this lens fit an Elmo GS800 ?

Does it allow to have a larger image than a 1.3 / 15-25mm with the same distance between the projector and the screen ?

Thank you for your help

Best regards

The GS-800 use the same lens as the GS-1200, ST-1200 and at least the most popular Elmos

I've use 1.3, 1.1 and 1.0 on the GS-800 with no problem at all

Jam, the first numbers refers to the brightness, the less the number is, the brighter image you get. A 1.1 lens gives you a brighter image than a 1.3 one and a 1.0 gives you a brighter image than a 1.1 lens. 1.0 is the brighter you can find. The second numbers refer to the size of the picture. There are two numbers as Super 8 projectors have a zoom lens. The smaller the number is, the bigger the picture will be on the screen. So a 12,5 (-25) lens will give you a larger picture than a 15 (wathever the second numbers are) one. There are projections size tables that exist, maybe you should have a look to see if the size improvement worth the invest in your specific case (sorry, I am ot at home and cannot give you any link). I would say that in general, it does as a better lens gives you a better image anyway.
