I have one more spare Schneider lens for sale - this is the Schneider-Kreuznach MC Xenovaron model, F1.1 with 11-30mm zoom range.
Considered one of the best lenses for super 8 projection, this lens is in excellent condition.
It fits Beaulieu 708EL projectors, later Fumeo 9119 models, and Norisound and earler Eumigs too.
The price is £70 plus £5 for UK Mainland signed for postage.
I will post overseas but the postage will cost more and a signed for service must be used.

Hi kevin. I'm desperatly seeking for a lens that will fit my fumeo 9120 (9119+recording facilities). How can i know if mine is one of the later models ? I saw that the housings are not always the same on the S8 fumeo. The one on my fumeo is "cubic" with a knob on the side and a micrometric screw on the top. Maybe you could help ? Thanks a lot.

Thanks Andrew but the problem is the screw thread. I bought 2 schneider lenses they fit the housing but the screw thread is too large and focusing is therefore problematic.

Hello Andrew
I just now measured the barrel diameter and it is the standard European size 32.5mm - yes you are right it will fit more machines it's just on some the manufacturer's focus mechanisms won't interlock with the barrel without modification.
Bruno - I recall I helped you with a Schneider F1.2 lens and refunded you some time ago when it would not fit your Fumeo 9119 hence I mentioned this time it will only fit later models. I really think your only solution will be to find a scrap / spares machine to use a later style swing-out mechanism - the early 9119 seemed to continue to use the early Fumeo 16mm lens focus design probably so Fumeo could use up their own stock of lenses before moving to Schneider ones?
Perhaps a message to Ugo Grassi will clarify the Fumeo lens differences as I know he has a lot of experience on Fumeo as well as Elmo projectors?

Hello Kevin, I recall now you helped me with this problem. You're certainly right about the earliest models. I will contact Ugo, i bought one of his gems some months ago, a GS that runs perfectly and i didn't knew he was also a fumeo specialist. Again thanks a lot for your help.

I hope Stuart can make use of this lens, but if not I would take it Kevin at the price it is, just to be able to hopefully pass it on at the same price to another Beaulieu owner of the future.
Quite a few later models came without the superb Schneider lens unfortunately, so presumably there are more machines in circulation than there are Schneider lenses.
Let me know also please Kevin if you manage to get any life from one of those SH30's. I now have the superb Fujinon F1.0 lens, but still no projector for it for the time being

Andrew, go ahead if you wish. I've probably got a while before I can make use of it (not sure what lens mine has until it arrives, yes I probably should have asked but got a bit overexcited )

Flavio, if you need it pal, go for it! I have two already, I just knew someone would always want one of these for a Beaulieu at one time or another.

Hello chaps
I should go away more often this has been a lively thread in my absence from home and computer today!
Thank you all for your interest and as it seems as though you have sorted out a logical 'pecking order' for me I will say the lens is SOLD now to Flavio.
However, Andrew and Stu please check your PMs as I will send you a message about the other subjects raised in a few minutes.
