Jim

Watch Ebay, there's a guy that sells these for both the Elmo and Eiki. These are ones he's made and not "factory" but as long as the blades and openings are there, it should work ok.

It's also important to run a synch motor (inspite of what people on ebay say when selling projectors). Speed variation, however slight will introduced bars in the picture. If you're planning on going to DVD, it's also a good idea to run your camera output thru a time base corrector.

I used to do business with one of the fleabay sellers. His name is Sam Missoula and goes under the handle "bionic spinner" (don't ask!). I haven't seen Sam in 15 years, but I probably bought 10 RCA's from him when I was running them. He lives just off the Long Island Expressway in Queens, NY. At that time he appeared to be more of a liquidator of old school machines than a real technician, but in 15 years who knows. I can say that I never had a bad experience with him.
