Having just received a replacement for an Eiki 16mm projector that's motor failed I have noticed that my replacement gets really hot, would the projector still run if the fan was not working?

I have spares for you elf motor fan etc and have some top notch elfs for sale all fully serviced I am taking loads of elfs to blackpool this sunday all stunning condtion
