Hallo all, my first message here is to ask if anyone has experience with Long Life ELC 250w 24v Lamps. They are on Ebay 24v 250w 16mm Long Life Lamp
Is this too good to be true? A bit of googling turned up this shop in the UK [URL=http://www.theelectronicsshop.co.uk/Spares/elc lamp.htm]A1/259 Projector Lamp[/URL]
Is this only for disco lights, or has anyone used it in his projector? It looks like there is no difference between the two lamps.

Hi Peter!:
That kind of lamps are not recomended for projection,if you use one you can see the image very poor and the ligth with poor quality,are cheap lamps made just for disco and not for projection,the aligment of the parabole are not correct for wieving films,the best are the xenophot ones,you can buy them from paul foster films or cine blue.
