Hi everyone!
I have some 16mm movies where unfotunately the Main Titles (begin ones) are missing.
As anyone experience or suggestions on how to re-create them, for example from a DVD? I don't have any 16mm accessory (camera, etc) so I should ask for a service like this. Any idea?

I know of people in the UK that have managed to borrow another print and get the title copied at a lab. As it costs about £1.50 per foot here, it could be quite expensive. As for DVD, I recall that SmallFormat issue 1 mentioned somewhere that could transfer a digital image to Super 8 so maybe they could manage 16mm, although if they could, I'm not sure if they could produce an optical soundtrack at the same time.

Hi Flavio, Larry Koski in Nebraska makes custom 16mm titles and has dozens of delightful ready-made ones, also some studio logos.. I have ordered about 20 from him and highly recommend his services. His email is lskoski@yahoo.com
It is a very reasonable alternative to the now almost impossible task of locating and/or printing up replacement footage.
