I actually need two of these so would prefer a matched pair. My distance to screen is approx 20 feet. The screen is 4 feet tall and about 12 feet wide. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I am new to 16mm collecting. FINALLY have a matched pair of B&H classroom projectors in immaculate condition. Slotload model 2580.
Been collecting super 8 for many years. Plan to get my first 16mm feature by early summer.
Any and all advice for 16mm newbies is greatly appreciated. I remember this format well from school (I was 14 in 1974). So please do fire info to me at anytime!
Yes, I have a GOOD 16mm splicer, the CIRO 16MM - M-3 special that also does wonders with old fashioned regular 8mm. :-)

Sounds like you got a cinemascope screen ratio. Usual 16mm will be 4x3 ratio. So using half your screen width should you achieve your 4ft height. 0.38 x Projection distance in ft. divided by focal length of lens in inches A 1.5" lens at 20' will give 61"x46"
