All arms that take the round urtheane belts use the same part (MS-850, MS-860, S-1, ST-, RM-, NT) The belts didn't change until the slot load projector when the flat take-up belt was introduced along with the timing belt rewind feed/arm belt.

Your best bet is to get hold of some urtheane belt material which is sold in bulk and splicing together your own belts. Buying any "exisiting" stocks can be risky as some of the stock are know to degrade on the shelf and old belts first break and then turn to goo.

By all means avoid--run away from--any rubber belts. These seem to work for a time and then under load will pinch into the pulley and jam the machine. These belts were offered by PRB and just don't work in Eiki projectors.

What I do is change the arms to the newer style from old SL machines so if you've run accross a machine with changed arms, then use the flat belts for take-up and toothed belt (which should never need to be replaced) for the feed arm.

I am only after one elf arm take up belt, i have bought one that was orange in colour thou it seems this belt has been spliced/ made together and does not work as it is a fraction to big.

So really i want to find a genuine Elf/Eiki belt as i don't won't to be let down again even thou it only cost me originally 3-4 pounds.

What you have is a replacement made up of the stock urethane material I talked about. Someone mis-measured it would seem. If you go back to the supplier, they should be able to correct your belt.

An original Eiki belt over here, if it's still available would cost $30 to $40.
