This is a copy of a post made on afew sites by myself,i hope you dont mind as i need to know or intrest in these and what there worth.....

Ok...this is a big ask,I need help with pricing around 348 16mm films, shorts and features, all these were owned by an old projectionist who has passed away, all have been keeped in
climit controlled room,two rooms infact.

His family has asked me to help sell them, but first i would need an idea of what they are worth.

I will be asking on other forums so i can get an avarage price in US dollars.

Please put your name forward if you would like to help,no tricky dickies please or you could be blacklisted when it comes to selling them.

I dont want to muck these people round.

Heres a small idea, some are New Zeakland related films so i will leave those out unless someone from here can help with those.

The Singing Nun Feature Scope PT1-2 cOL 3800FT

Shoes of the fisherman Feature Col 6000ft

Showboat Feature Col 3200ft

Never so few Feature Col 3 reels 3 to 4 hours

The Singing Brakeman Jimmy Rodgers

Big Trees Feature B/W 3400ft

The dawn of motoring 3 hours

The Foxes of harrow Feature B/W 2 reels

Dream of Kings PT 1-2-3 Feature Col Std 2 1/2 hrs

Hurry hurry w c fields 400ft

Cartoon rooster and the chicken 400ft

The third day Feature Col 4600ft

Now you get the idea, shorts to features
Little rascals
Abbott and costello
The three stooges

And loads more,any help welcome.

After i have an idea of how many can help,i will put the full list up.

Regards
Barrie

Hi Barrie,

Perhaps you could contact Steve Sigel who's a member of this forum. He deals a lot of 16mm and I'm pretty certain he could help with pricing any 16mm print for you.
