"And God Created Woman. But the Devil created Brigitte Bardot" screamed the 1957 ad. I have just bought Brigitte's first big hit film ".....and God created woman". Due to the censor objecting to the word God in a film title the British release was called "And Woman.....Was Created".
The 35mm release was 'scope and subtitled, my American 16mm print is flat and has an English dub. Unfortunately as it's Eastmancolor it is pink with the slightest traces of green. However, the seller reduced the price to £25 and I'm not complaining. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)
