A recent question was for a screen size for a given throw. The standard lens on a 16mm sound projector is a 2" (50mm) so here are the sizes of screen as opposed to projection distance to screen using this lens. Note that the given screen size is the standard ratio of 4:3.
10.5 throw in feet = screen size of 2' x 1.5' 21.0 throw in feet = screen size of 4' x 3' 31.5 throw in feet = screen size of 6' x 4.5' 42.0 throw in feet = screen size of 8' x 6' 52.5 throw in feet = screen size of 10' x 7.5' 63.0 throw in feet = screen size of 12' x 9'
With a 2x anamorphic (and the 2" backing lens) the screen width is doubled whereas the height remains the same.
