It is a good projector for beginners and people how have a very small buget. Almost all parts are easy to dismantle, all belts are round rubber belts (available around the world for decades), modern design, not old fashioned, printed circuit bord, ICīs, transistors and Hybrid power-amp!! (Hybrid power amp still available, all other parts , too) Very seldom defect in amplifier. They used rather high quality electronic parts.
Easy to repair and to do maintance for friends with limited experience in repair of film projectors. But lot of sun shine generates lot of shadow. Shortcomings: Font lid/cover, rear cover, exciter lamp cover are made from very thin sheet metal. I guess o.7mm thick. During degreasing process on some parts - mainly front and rear cover and lens holder - (dried) drops of degreasing agents remaind on sheet metal when painting had been applied. Nowadays resulting in corrosion spots (up to 2" diameter) underneath painting. If you push with your finger on these spots, often you will penetrate covers. 3 of 10 projectors are affected, if stored under high humidity even more defects are visible. Further I should point out, that parts which had been glued by resins/epoxy tend to fall off, even on never used modules. But can be reglued again. Therefore careful inspection of outer surface is highly recommended. If I remember right, there is no reverse run/projection/rewind
It is equipped with widly used 24V 250W ELC bulb for bright picture.
