Hi, I recently noticed a problem with a Elmo 16 projector.

When a film is running on the projector, at the beginning everything is alright. However, after a while, the film goes off the projector. After I re-thread the film onto the projector and start the projector, the problem quickly happens again.

I did not have this problem last year. And I do not have this problem with some other 16mm films. Not sure what went wrong. Any suggestions?

My first thought was that the rollers are going soft. Since it doesn't happen with all films, I would visually inspect the films that it does happen to. Compare them to a visual inspection of the ones that it doesn't happen to. See if you notice any differences.
