This is a rather specialised query, so I appreciate that I'll be lucky if anyone has the precise information needed! I have a Eiki SNT from Germany that I need to change from 220v to 240v for use in the UK. What's puzzling me is that it's very clear that there are already wires for BOTH voltages going into the transformer and the 9-pin connector that's in-between the transformer and the wires that head off towards the amplifier. Unfortunately, Eikis don't have the voltage selector dial that (e.g.) a Bauer would have.
So, it doesn't seem to be an obvious either/or situation, so can anyone kindly advise how this voltage change should be made? Should the two wires simply swap places? I have a Service Manual that acknowledges the scope to change the voltage, but it doesn't appear to spell out how you do it!
