This is a question possibly best answered from members in Germany, Netherlands or Japan.
The Hokushin 16mm projectors made in Japan also turn up badged as Demolux. I see there is, or was, a German company called Demolux GMBH & Co KG, with an address of 6070 Langen, near Frankfurt. They appeared to once sell overhead projectors, and presumably 16mm projectors.
The question is whether the 16mm sound projectors were made in Japan and exported to Germany badged as Demolux, or were they manufactured in Germany with parts supplied from Japan?
It seems that a lot of these 16mm projectors (Hokushin/Demolux) were favoured by the education facilities in the Netherlands for use in their schools.

I would recomend contacting this man, https://eishaki.wordpress.com/ knows all about the Japanese made projectors both commercial and sub standard gauges.

Thank you, Patrick for the link. However, it is written by a gentleman from Istanbul in Turkey and the information on the Hokushin projectors is a trifle sketchy.
He says that in Germany Demolux made SC-10 models under Elmo patents badged as DEMOLUX 16L. I find this a strange comment as this model (the one with the rotating arm which auto-loads the film) does not bear a relation to an Elmo product.
