Here are several lots of educational films I'd like to move. Some have cans, some don't. Wide range of subjects and conditions; no VS in here, and all project well; I've at least looked at all of them. Screenshots available on request. PM me here if interested. -Tom

History Package #1: American History & Social Studies:10 films $25 + $14 US media mail shipping

American Revolution: Background Period, & The War Years--both on one reel; ex and better, LPP or Agfa
Deborah Sampson: A Woman in the Revolution LPP ex.
Colonial America: the Beginning Ex++/Nm condition though pink but on newer estar-based stock.
Colonial way of Life well-used pink Eastman with some splices, & black lines and some heavier scratches that come and go.
Oregon Trail warm/pinkish Eastman, but with some color left. There are some jump splices before the front credits, lots of lines and some further splices--well-used.
Civil War: A House Divided & Struggle for Vicksburg 2 films on one reel The first film: pink Eastman, line down the right side for the whole section I watched. A few splices, though no jumpers that I noticed. The second film: well-used school film, w/ some lines, a couple of jump splices 10 minutes in, and a 12 second sprocket repair that ran with some rattle. A heavier black line for about 5 minutes in the middle, which comes and goes after that.
North American Indians Today National Geographic documentary profiles several Native Americans discovering, recapturing, or trying to preserve their heritage. With great old silent footage of northwest coast native Potlatch ceremonies. 1200 ft reel. Warm Eastman with some color left. EX+ condition with some light lines here and there.
Farm Family in Autumn lines, some splices, pink

History package #2: World History & social studies 7 films $16 + $9 shipping

Charlemagne: Holy Barbarian: Docudrama style; opening on a medieval battlefield where the Saxons have slaughtered Frankish troops--uses live action with actors and narration to depict- creation of the Holy Roman Empire by Charlemagne in the late 8th Century. Well-used with lines throughout, a yellow scratch for a couple of minutes. pink, with a little color. But where else can you see interviews with 8th century knights?
the Crusades: Saints and Sinners pink Eastman, with a little color left. Just a few splices, and general medium wear--numerous lines--later on they thin out a little--a well-used film.
Medieval Knights & Medieval World: the Nobility 2 films on one reel. 1st one: Dramatized with actors and narration--life in feudal society. The story of a man’s education and development from page to squire to knight. Pink--Some splices and lots of lines--a well-used school film. 2nd one: Pink, vg.
The Beginnings of Exploration Film about the development of exploration by Westerners from pre-Columbian days, including the Vikings and early theories about the round earth. 800 ft reel. G/VG great color on AGFA stock, but lines and scratches. I don’t see any splices.
Middle East: Islam, the Unifying Force 1978, Well-made film offering a look at the backgrounds, history and practice of Islam, and its place at the center of much of Middle Eastern life. Beautiful photography. 17 minutes. Pinkish with some color. Otherwise EX+ On newer estar-based film stock; I see no splices.
The Dancing Lion Very well-made informative film. Musicologist Andrew Tracy and a group of African musicians introduce African rhythms and the twelve beats used in “crossed rhythms.” Then an audience participation storytelling session: a folk tale about how a husband and a rabbit enchant a lion. Featuring a dancer in a great traditional lion costume. 400 ft.Eastman color, warm, with some color left. (though this is on estar-based stock) Otherwise in fantastic condition, no splices, no lines of any note.

science & nature: 13 films $30 + $14 shipping

Snow: a first film, Animal Habitats: on one 800ft reel. ex or better. LPP
Space Science: Over the Hill to the Moon-(animated), Wonderworld of Science: why can’t I fly like a bird?, Birds: a First film: on one 1200 ft reel EX+ or better, Agfa or LPP
Photosynthesis: Life Energy A quality National Geographic educational botany/biology documentary. 1200 ft reel.After a couple of splices in the first minute this film appears in EX++/nm condition. LPP
Diversity of Life quality film explains the 5-kingdom classification system for living things. Nice microscopic photography. Greater detail on the the animal kingdom. 1200 ft reel. EX/EX+ LPP. A few lines here and there but nice shape. 8-second sprocket repair at very end.
Mitosis and Meiosis Very well done, color with animation, microscopic cinematography - explains and illustrates cell division--the basic process of life. approx 16 minutes ON A CORE. LPP, EX++ with no lines of any note.Saw 3 splices
the Little Tadpole who Grew Pink with some color left; VG w/ gen light wear, a few splices, some lines.
Chick Chick Chick Follows one young chicken around the farm where he encounters the other animals, and checks back in periodically on a hatching egg. With a banjo soundtrack. 800 ft reel. VG , pink Eastman stock with some dark lines that lighten up in the later part. A couple of splices.
Endangered Animals: Will they Survive? Documentary about endangered species, focusing on Cheetahs, Everglades recovery project, & Manatees among others. 1200 ft reel.A green/yellow line down the left side, plus some very light black lines that come and go. Great color and sound. On Fuji stock.

Wonderful Weather Machine Animation, live action, time lapse. EX.There is a dark line at the rt side of frame, and later in center. Other than one other intermittent line, in great shape. AGFA

Harold & the Purple Crayon, Beast of Monsieur Racine, Snowy Day - one reel . Harold is pink Eastman w/ lines after the first minute; the other two are ex++/Nm on Agfa or LPP
Continents of the World animated robots host educ film about earth’s continents as if educating visitors from outer space about earth. NM great color.
Miss Nelson is Missing VG-EX condition. On newer stock, but pinkish, with some good color left. There are some lines, but I saw no splices
Map Skills for beginners: Directions Animated film, with a cartoon alien learning about directions on Earth. Ex++/nm condition, 400 ft, LPP
Families All in kid art style with some simple animation. About families of all kinds from all places. On a 400 ft reel. NM condition, LPP.

Molly’s Pilgrim -Oscar winning kids film about a Russian Jewish immigrant girl & her struggle to fit in. Thanksgiving theme. LPP Ex to EX+ condition. There's a splice in the first minute. No lines of any note, but there is a blinking yellow dot at center of the far left side of the frame in the portion I watched
