Bumping this up, I am really keen to get this film. I know it exists, I missed an auction a few weeks ago, I just really want to get my hands on a copy.

I was friends with a theater manager years back who was a major fan of this Lewis Gilbert film. I have never seen it.

I'd say it's a decent movie. The main reason I want it though is cause I'm a big Elton John fan, and he and Bernie did the entire soundtrack for the movie. I've seen 16mm prints pop on ebay twice, but I missed both chances.
