Hello Lee.
There is a Monee/ Westar projector on ebay for £400. Item 220091867262 under 35mm projectors.

I do not think that it has a red reader, but the old fashioned ex lamp, so you might have to convert it to read cyan tracks.

Hi Hugh. Thanks for letting me know. I have seen one of these before and they do run noisy so not ideal for the home. Did have a look at the listing also just out of interest but will pass on it due to the noise. Quite a few 35mm projectors about now so I should be OK I think.
How my darling wife copes here I will never know...
Regards

Hello Lee.
If you require a nice quite machine then you can not beat the Philips DP70.
Runs 35 & 70mm at speeds of 24 or 30 fps.
You will require an invertor to be able to run it on single phase power, and to fool the motor into thinking that it is 3 phase.
