Well, if you are a fan of this film...and who isin't this must be the ultimate. The Blu-ray is full of features even has "Sing-Along" The quality of the transfer is stunning the colour looks great plus 7:1 DTS sound, what more can you ask for. If you do not have a big HD TV this might be time to buy one.

I totally agree Graham. The Sound of Music is a reference quality Blu Ray, awesome picture and sound. We can all agree (well some of us!) to groan about the change to digital projection in the professional cinema and the loss of 35 mm film, but honestly it does not get any better than this in your home cinema. It's like seeing it for the first time.
