What's with this new eBay format which I just discovered this morning?

All my regular topics have disappeared from the drop-down search box, and the order of listing has to be re-set on each visit if you don't like the default setting.

The selection of regions has altered too.

Are they trying to lose business?? It has become more of a pain in the ass than ever to navigate quickly, simply and easily.

IMHO all these updates render the site less and less 'user friendly'.

Hmmmmmm....mine is the same as usual today.

If its the new Beta layout, you can chose to disable it. They pushed it on me a couple months ago. I went back to the old layout - there should be a link to this somewhere in the top right corner if I remember correctly.

Same here. No change is apparent.

Well! I wonder what's occurring here, then. There is definitely no option for returning to the previous format.

Is anybody else experiencing this phenomenon, or have I been singled out? [Big Grin] [Eek!] [Roll Eyes]

I got it ages ago and now I've got it again too. [Frown]

eBays news says that you can only opt-out for the next 4 weeks and then the old way will be stopped completely.

I think if they really wanted to change it, they should of done it slowly by adding little bits at a time. One big change will take a while to get used to. [Frown]

Well, that is indeed bad news because I found it to be a royal pain in the ass to use when they foisted it on me a few weeks back.
