First thing you do is get some film like...so.. Make sure your top loop is correctly adjusted... Stop for a BIG cheesy smile...... After that now thread up and around the bottom spool.. Thats right around the take up spool... Just about finished, Zoe my grandaughter recieved no coaching from me I just took the photos....she will be three this Christmas.

Very commendable! After a working life in the cinema business,but now retired,it has been my experience that females make brilliant operators-often showing us blokes the way ahead.

Thanks for your comments its always great to see youngsters take an interest. I think Zoe might give young Chris our 15 year old projectionist at work a run for his money in a few years time
Incidently the projector is a "Kelvin Challenger" 16mm, and was made here in New Zealand by "Kelvin Projectors Ltd" in a factory in Onehunga, the Challenger went on the market in 1951 and was very popular in Schools and institutions throughout New Zealand and in Australia.
