I agree with Jean, and welcome to the format!
A lot depends on how much you cherish your films. My first super 8 projector was a "Soundstar" and it scratched every film I had, from day one!
My second wasn't much better, it was a Kodak Ektasound, and while it played both 8mm and Super 8, it at least was a step up.
Then, I moved onto my first Eumig. I can't remember exactly what model it was, but it does sound like the 810, and it was quite good.
When I got into Derann and other good prints, I bought my first EUMIG 926 stereo, and boy! was I impressed!
