Luis ...
Its a matter of modern opinion, but people tend to think, (as a general rule) that because a projector has more bells or whistles, (for instance, the Chinon 9500 still doesn't look dated to this day, with a more modern looking body) on the outside, that it is going to get more looks from customers.
" Duh ... it is brighter and prettier, so it must be better ... DUH! "
(visualize the drool rolling down the chin.)
Its kind of like what I noted with audio technology. I have always went with Realistic brand. They don't have lots of visual splendor to thier units. They are, quite frankly, very bland in appearance ...
... but they're ...
A. Audio quality and , B. built to last
No matter how many graphic equalizers and other lit up LED displays that other lower price brands have, I'll still stick with the boring looking Realistic.
The same is true with the Eumig. While some of the later models had more bells and whistles, the EUMIG was a rather bland looking body, not very "sexy" in appearance, but boy, do they perform, and are hard to kill. Eumigs are much more gentle on your films as well, (as I mentioned earlier.)
