Louis Jordan starred in probably the most accurate - certainly most atmospheric - rendition of Bram Stokers "Dracula". This was a bbc production from the late 70's..I was 16 at the time and it scared me to death. It was so like the novel. Great cast also - Frank Finlay (Van Helsing)..below is a link to the full movie. I would appreciate what you think.

Just looking at it now, some of those 70,s british things had a great feel.

And Judi Bowker, wow that will keep me wathcing to the end anyway !!!!

You will all really enjoy it.

Very close to the original - very thoughtful adaptation with an insidious.. sinister element that creeps up on you..just like the book. It was a very good effort from the BBC in 1977. [Smile]
