Hi All,

The 4th of July week-end got off to a great start with a fun luncheon in DC involving Joe Caruso, Gary Crawford and me.
Over dim sum, much was discussed (a lot of it having to do with film [Big Grin] )and a lovely time was had by all:

 -

 -

 -

We should try for this more often, also in other cities, as folks could get to see each other casually between CineSeas.

Claus.

Sounds fine to me!

I was thinking about it the other day:

"July, August, September....October. Seems like a while!"

We do similar things up North too:

 -

Here we are at that famous landmark of 8mm Movies: The Closet o' Film at the Meltzers' place in Manhattan. John Capazzo and Ernie Zahn were there too. We had a great afternoon!

Doug kindly invited us to drop in and watch a few one Saturday. Personally I had my doubts because Trisha was a few weeks post-surgery and going to this Mini-Sea meant we couldn't visit her at the hospital that day.

She sized up my own situation (exhausted) and sensed I needed a break: she said "You should go!".

(Sometimes the caretakers need care too...)

Two months later the three of us continued our recovery in Wildwood itself!

Some day, some rare, sane day when we have the time. I'd like to have some people out here too.

-I have a couple of spare inputs on my mixer: could make it BYOP (bring your own projector).

What is the date of the next Cinesea?

Hi Paul,

CineSea Saturday is October 17th.

There will almost certainly be festivities CineSea-Eve (I'm hoping for another feature) and CineSunday breakfast too before we pack up.

Just about every marketing print known to man there in your photo Doug! Three or four Derann Disney features as well by the looks of things.
Excellent extensive collection, the things that dreams are made of. [Smile]

Thank you Andrew! There's also a Closet O' Film for 16mm and silent 8mm/Super 8mm.

It's always great to get together.....I was over at John Capazzo's recently and we had a terrific outdoor screening.

Doug

I LOVE the idea, but we Osgood's, sadly are not too mobile these days, mostly due to finances, but I know I'd love to meet up with you folks! (and have a hell of a great screening!)
