Leonard Maltin's blog wrote this and the theater he describes is close by me. Although he says all 5 theaters are 35mm I saw on Fandango Mission Impossible says 'digital'.

Many multiplex cinemas which have gone digital, retain a 35mm set-up in at least one screen for re-runs of older films which have never made it to hard-drive digital. I don't mean DVD issues.

I still prefer film over digital, and many of my friends feel the same way. I'm lucky to live in Rochester, NY and have a couple of theaters that run 35 from time to time, most notably the George Eastman house.
