There are very few first run theatres here in the USA that still have the capability to run 35mm. There are even less that have the capability of running a short in 35mm and then quickly switching over the DCP video.

I suppose Alamo Drafthouse could play it, and their analog chain would do the optical sound justice. Interesting that they didn't bother to put SRD on it.
Otherwise, it's a novelty that will end up on eBay.

Excellent - every time something like this happens, it reinforces the evidence for a film revival. It's amusing to see the way the short in question 'has' to be called a "video", even though it's 35mm!
