As Jonas Mekas, one of the founders of Antholgy Film Archives here in New York, and an experimental/avant garde filmmaker himself said recently in a talk at Filmlinc, "Cinema is a big tree (with many branches)."

The artist linked below, and based here in NYC, uses 16mm film and multiple projectors for her works.
