I bought this print over ten years ago and for much of that time the fade did not seem to be getting any worse. Sadly the other week I was to find it had increased quite dramatically.
Its like for all those years the fade had been holding back "hanging in there" until this year, shame really as its not avaliable on DVD. Its a pity Derann did not release the full 25 min film like they did with the "Ride of the 480" I do know a person who does 16mm transfers so will see if it can be put onto a DVD with color correction through his computor fed in during transfer.
I am certainly glad I bought new prints of both the 200 footer of this film and in particular a new print of "Ride Of The 480" on good color stock just before they closed.

Just checked my print of this title and the color is perfect. I love railroad films and this is a good one. I didn't know that the original documentary was longer.

A Toast to the very first railroad film to be screened at CineSea!
Among maybe a hundred train films I have it was my first choice.
From a room I thought was packed with horror film fans, I found out more than a few appreciated these too, and I've always tried to have one for Saturday night.

Just checked my Derann 200ft and the colour is still perfect. Unfortunately there are no edge markings to indicate the print stock used, but, no doubt, it's Agfa.

He's hoping the transfer is OK if you have it done, at present there is enough there for a computer to restore. This is the result of a few clicks in Microsoft photo editor done on your pictures
