There does not seem any one place on Ebay for 16mm film sale, probably same for 8mm, which do you consider best section on Ebay? Regards David

Smart thing to do is search in All Categories because I can't count how many times I've found film in other categories other than DVD film stock. You miss out if you just search one category

Yes Allan, my question to Brian what about selling? Which of these various sections is best to list in IE the one which may well be the most successful to attract people who do not search in the manor suggested.

I just tried it. I punched in 16mm films, followed by the usual details and presumably people will see it under that heading. I peruse either 16mm films or 16mm features every day. Same for 8mm.

Yes that buying, if you were selling which one category would you choose to list in? I'm thinking as I said not all buyers will search.

Perhaps I didn't explain it clearly, I went into the 'selling' section then listed as 16mm films. Didn't seem a problem.

Looks a bit involved but I just went through several sections to get to 16mm films. These included sound and vision - vintage sound and vision - other sound and vision, and finally 16mm films. I agree with you, must be a simpler way.

No there isn't a simpler way as eBay tries to help you out but can easily screw things up. I've listed Super 8mm prints that eBay have tried to list in the Fine Arts category! (Presumably due to the word 'print' being used). As I suggested earlier in the thread if you are selling the advisable category is
DVDs, Films & TV>Film Stock
But as many others have said, if you're buying, use as many search terms as you can think of, films can end up in odd categories.
