Phil In your Profile is "Enable Private Messaging?" set to NO instead of YES. Also, there is "Be notified by email when someone sends you a private message". Check that this is also YES.

Phil I'm glad you got the message. Odd no email, does the Forum have your email address? As regards number of messages in the box, I am sure that Doug will be able to give an answer.
The PM mailbox will allow up to 60 messages. That total is a combination of those sent & received. Your current total is well below that, and you are able to receive private messages. Let's figure out the notification issue. I've sent you a test email using the address the Forum has for you. Please let me know if you receive it.

Hello Doug,
The "notification" service is not working anymore from my side.
Once more I missed an "important" proposal....
Thanks for your assistance
Phil
LAST UPDATING !!!!!
I just discovered right now that all Forum messages are dropping in the "Stupid" Spam box !!! ..... Not found yet how to fix it (Grrrrrrrrrrr......) when I subsribed to Forum a few years ago, I never met this problem. I don't find yet any tab on my server to customize Spam options.....

Phil You should be able to mark the messages in your SPAM folder as NOT SPAM. This should ensure future messages come direct to the in box.

I have had that trouble too recently. It sometimes takes a while for the email server to remember which addresses are marked as not spam.

Phil You could check your emails each day and could see if any have arrived in your SPAM box. Or. Check on the Forum under "My Profile".
