yep, but not sure why the seller is charging such insane shipping to US, i have had Specto's and others shipped over for half that....Speaking of 200B's i have one that seems to smoke a bit when I turn off the rewind.... Any ideas, oh and I have removed the asbestos, just fyi... Cheers Dino Everett

£155 . Come over to Ealing or Group 9.5 cine fares and you could buy one for £50 or less. This one has not even been tested and has not been updated to halogen lighting (mine was).
I love the look of the 200B, one of the best looking projectors ever. But I dont like those slabs of Asbestos around the light bulb with a fan blowing through it , so I had mine removed by a specialist, but I still dont use it much now but its great to look at. Im sure people buying these dont realise there is asbestos in the light box, but its only probably low grade stuff and if in good condition shouldnt do you any harm. Just dont let the kids play with it, or remove it yourself (quite easy back plate unscrews and asbestos is just held in place with clips)

Hi Graham, You are quite right to be concerned about the asbestos and you did the right thing by getting it removed. I have never owned a 200B, but I have always thought it to be probably Pathescopes best engineered projector, and certainly it's most impressive looking one.

Thanks for your reply Paul,
Just imagine the workers in the Pathescope factory fitting these in by hand. And new deliverys coming in from time to time of the stuff in large crates. And then people using these in their living rooms with the fan blowing in the room .
However its important not to get too paranoid about it (I was for a short while) as I dont think anybody has died from it (from projectors) and I know many 9.5 collectors in their 80's who are still alive and well and would have had one many years ago. White asbestos is the least harmful and in the 200B may be only around 10-20% asbestos (like asbestos cement products). Also asbestos was everywhere in the home like ironing boards, gloves etc.
I had mine removed for £30 from a small company near me and a bloke removed it in his van wearing a special suit and just gave it a wipe with a damp cloth. I then wiped it more twice and then screwed the back plate together.
