The Dutch club has officially annouced that the next international festival will be held in Assen (180 kms from Amsterdam) from Thursday 30th May to Sunday 2nd June. The informations are all in Dutch on the site, but informations will be provided in the next 9.5 French magazine (and probably in the British one). 2004 Dutch Festival
Just popping this up as scanned up the Super 8 we filmed of the 2004 fest with my Pathescope Super 8 camera. Interestingly the camera created quite a bit of interest at the time as no one had seen one before. The results from the camera were quite good and nice to have a record with so many of the group now gone sadly.

Thanks, Lee. Must be an interesting document ! The lady seen on your picture is Madame Latrasse, well known in France as she attends many film fair and has a table in the name of the French Club.

Thanks Dom. It was a wonderful event and great for filming. As mentioned my Pathescope Super 8 cine camera did create much interest as many from outside the UK never even knew they made one. I was to film it on 9-5 but couldn't get the film in time.
Others also filmed the event on 9.5 and Super 9.5 so good news it was captured.
Roger also did some 9-5 but sadly everyone you see in this picture has now passed away. A great loss to us and 9-5.

No, Graham, sadly they couldn't make the trip. However they came to Paris last week for the special projections during the Cinema day at the place where the monthly projections are held.
End of festival dinner. But the day after two extra visits were made.
One of the numerous place where Van Gogh lived.
Industrial transport museum.
The driver of the little train we took to make a tour.
Last picture. Hopefully the festival will be held in the UK next year.

Thanks Dom for more photos. Excellent. Yes the UK is hosting it next year possibly in Bradford. The planning has already started and more will be published in time when we get confirmation on the hotel etc.
