OCT 20th 2019 Doors open 11AM
HARPENDEN PUBLIC HALLS Southdown Road, Harpenden, Herts, AL5 1TE, UK
Well it will be here before you know it the longest running cine event in the whole UK the Annual 9-5 film Get-Together.
My late father and I started going in the 70's and wifey and I have enjoyed every one we have been able to make since. Here you will find all things film and a really friendly gathering of like minded folk.
Typically over the years I've seen 9.5, 8mm, 16, 35, 17.5 and 28mm films and equipment for sale along with all things film.
Malcolm is now taking dealer bookings for tables and the price is low at £20 per table. Tel: 01278 459335 to secure yours.

I agree a very good event here are the few photos I took Dominique, I am sure, will post some more.
The Busy Hall
Keith Wilton and Bob Maynard were there too.
A little of the bring & buy
Some more projectors and a pair of large 16mm spools
More equipment including a Varamorph a massive variable compression anamorphic lens that I have only seen before on a 35mm projector in a museum in Oban, Scotland. The rest of my time ignored photo-taking and was "wasted" chatting, going round the room selecting what to buy and watching the Sandy Powell film "It's Grand Old World". :-)
Good to see everyone there.

Here are some pictures I took on that good day. It was a pleasure to meet the British enthusiasts once again and I hope to see many next month at Blackpool.
The Bring And Buy tables were full this year. I like that system that doesn't exist on the continent (at least, I never sam it in Belgium or in France).
Although it's organozed by the Group 9.5 and there are many films and Equipment in this gauge, standard 8, super 8, 16 mm and even 28 mm were present as well.
Always nice to see so many items displayed.
Not easy to take a picture of Lee without a camera or a film in his hands
Paradise for films lovers…
Tony from Buckingham Film Services (on the left) has films for sale that seem to interest David Tatham...

The last pictures.
Martyn Stevens, a good supporter of 9.5, in front of a nice (super 8) Elmo projector that has an incorporated screen. A machine I was interested in but it's not easy to carry to much from Harpenden to Brussels.
Another attractive table for those who like vintage machines.
Patrick (on the right) is hoping to have the 9.5 Bible ready for January (dépends on the printer).
Some dealers make efforts to dress their tables
