Is a Xenophot safe to use on an ST-1200? Will it get to hot for the machine or the film? If it's okay to use on the ST-1200, where can I find one. [Cool]

Dan, no problems at all. I do feel that the xenophot lamps tend to have a shorter lamp life and also degrade earlier due to discolouration of the reflector. The xenophots are made by Osram. Its a EFR 15V 150W Osram No HLX 64634. Most Photo stores sell them. I buy mine from Paul Foster Films here in the UK. www.fosterfilms.co.uk

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.
