Check out this load of BS. Originally priced at $1200? Where? I have it in my catalog in 1984 for $250. Also the seller claims it is the 1.2. But the box says it is the 1.4!
Telecine use? Give me a break! It was the long throw lens for auditorium use.
Ads like this made me so angry I emailed the seller and told him it was fraudulent advertising and he should change it. At least he left it with no reserve.

Here, here!!!
Quite agree with you Alan, what a load of BS especially as hes submitted a pic of the f1.4 and goes onto say that it doesnt have any packageing! So why not photgraph the proper lens without its nice elmo box? Bizarre!!!

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.

Well...it looks like he changed the ad and then pulled it!
He sent me a private email asking how much did I want to spend for it. I told him I didn't want it but was just informing him that a buyer may not like his "false" advertisement. So most likely the seller sold it to someone who made him an offer he couldn't refuse....
