The things people will do to sell projectors.
These speed pots dont like much mucking about with as they will break. How on earth would anyone know what speed thay are adjusting it to.

Kevin, great find. This is dangerous territory for the non technically trained. Can you imagine tweeking this delicate little pot over and over again. Like you said, how would you know what speed you were at without a meter? [Eek!] This is not going to help recruit potentially new collectors to the hobby. [Smile]

I just checked his past sales and this not the only one with this description. [Eek!]

What I dont like about it is the fact that he shows a piture with a screwdriver inserted in one of the pot. These pots normally have some green lock paint on them and I have seen some examples of the pot having been given a real hard twist to break the seal and at the same time breaking the pot. Naughty.
