Good morning everybody,
I'm looking for the following spare part (Elmo GS-1200 green plastic shoe with capstan roller).
Any sources in Europe? I asked the main German Super-8 mail providers, but unfortunately they didn't have it in their warehouse.
Neither did CHC [Frown] Can anyone help?

Hi Dimitrios,
I think it's very hard to find that spare part. Anyway I'm able to repair it. You may send it to me.

They are very difficult to find now and I see you have an early version on your machine. The later ones have a metal bush in the centre which helps to stop them cracking and then falling off.
Ugo's correct about repairing them it is possible to glue them if they have broken but really they need to be strengthened.

Thank you very very much Ugo!
I'll contact you in privat.
Actually I've already glued it [Frown] , but I'm afraid it needs a better and more resistant treatment..
Perhaps a metal reinforcement would do the job.

Right! I do so (and the job is invisible).

Hi Dimitrios,
I repaired the bracket. Now there is a metal reinforcement inside. To avoid the job is visible, I painted the part. I didn't find the right color so I used a black paint. But it's very nice!
