Although this subject has been well chronicled in the "Master and Commander : what's next?" topic, I felt it bears more talk.
I know I sound like a broken record, but I truly believe that if some wealthy person who throws his money away anyway, would invest in the super 8 equipment, (which, of course, still exists in america) they could release new super 8 product in america, which, of course, for americans, would be a great boon, as they could afford a full feature a lot easier, and for overseas collectors, (such as our fine British friends) it would be even better finances wise.
If I had the cash to blow on the endeavor, I surely would, but it's only a pipe dream. yeah, super 8 will never be what it once was, but it could come alive once again in a mjaor way in america!
